Luxury cars, a top-tier course and a chance to qualify for a world final in Germany brought car enthusiasts and golf lovers together for a memorable day on the green.
Luxury cars and crisp morning air set the tone for a spectacular day at the Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast 2025 MercedesTrophy Golf Day.
Held on Friday 2nd May at the prestigious Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club – The Pines, the event brought together 102 players for a high-spirited round of golf, with a potential journey to Germany on the line.
The day began at 7.00am, where guests were welcomed with barista made coffee and a chance to connect before heading out onto the course for an 8.30am shotgun start.
Open to players of all levels, the day was structured as an individual stableford competition, offering participants a chance to compete for a coveted place in the upcoming MercedesTrophy Australian Final this June and potentially a spot representing Australia at the World Final in Germany later in the year.

“Events such as this give us a chance to spend time with our customers in a relaxed setting while also bringing people together who share a love of great cars and a good game of golf,” says Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast General Manager Leroy Dunne.
Of course, the highlight was the announcement of the winners across the three handicap divisions. Congratulations to:
A Grade winner: Quoc Chi Truong
B Grade winner: George Coplick
C Grade winner: Surjit Sidhu
“We’d like to offer our thanks to everyone who joined us on the day and congratulate our winners,” says Leroy.
“All three have secured a place in the MercedesTrophy Australian Final, with the chance to go on to represent Australia on the global stage, which is incredibly exciting.”
After the final putts were sunk, guests were treated to a refined menu, course views and friendly conversation to round out the day in style.
From the first tee to the final hole, the event was about more than just stableford points, it was a celebration of shared passions and world-class hospitality. To view all the images from the MercedesTrophy Golf Day click here.
