From its breathtaking internal courtyard to its luxurious interiors, Ultra Living Homes has crafted something that is as fun to experience as it is to admire.
The La Casa Eden. Designed by Ultra Living Homes, this stunner isn’t just a house—it’s a statement. Trust us, when you see it, you’ll find it difficult not to fall in love or be awestruck by its spectacular features.
La Casa Eden, a standout in the Gold Coast’s newest masterplanned community SkyRidge, pushes the limits of what you would normally see in a display home.
With its blend of Mediterranean charm and contemporary flair and seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, this home creates an unparalleled living experience.
The heart of La Casa Eden is its internal courtyard, a slice of paradise where nature and design blend effortlessly.
We start with an idea—it might be a spiral staircase or a unique arch—and let it guide us to a complete design. It comes down to pushing boundaries and making something truly special.
“When we design a display home, it’s important to have the ‘wow’ factor. It needs to draw people in and showcase potential and possibilities,” says Ultra Living Homes Co-Founder Megan Nastrom.
“The internal courtyard is my absolute favourite feature. It’s a space where you can sit for hours, soaking up the sun and escape the world. It’s a sanctuary within the home which makes it rather unique within the Australian market.”
Biophilic design elements, a concept that increases connectivity to nature, are central to La Casa Eden, with the courtyard serving as a source of natural light and ventilation.
Framed by an abundance of windows, the courtyard is accentuated by a stone waterfall cascading into a large reflection pond.
Since its founding in 2016, Ultra Living Homes, led by Megan and her husband Peter, has been redefining luxury living.
“Our design process is all about evolution,” she says.
“We start with an idea—it might be a spiral staircase or a unique arch—and let it guide us to a complete design.
“It comes down to pushing boundaries and making something truly special.
“Collaboratively, we work with a fabulous designer, Sean from Formspace Building Design Pty Ltd, and together we bring these designs to life.”
La Casa Eden’s interior design exudes a calm and sophisticated ambiance, achieved through a careful selection of neutral, warm and earthy tones.
The kitchen, another focal point, utilises a mix of textures and tones, with integrated appliances and a Dekton Reverie surface that extends to the splashback, creating a visually striking feature.
Externally, the home’s colour palette and materials are thoughtfully incorporated into the interior design, ensuring a cohesive and harmonious look throughout.
“Mediterranean vibes are evident not only in the courtyard, but also in the checkboard breezeway and alfresco tiling,” she says.
The main bedroom is a testament to luxury and functionality.
“It’s bigger than most one-bedroom apartments, with a lounge area, a bar nook with a sink and integrated fridge, and a large freestanding bath,” says Megan.
“The space is designed for relaxation and convenience featuring separate vanities, water closets and a spacious walk-in-robe with custom cabinetry.”

Another standout feature is the two-storey high stone wall that frames the staircase.
“The glass balustrade was intentionally chosen to complement the stone wall and maintain its visual impact,” says Megan.
“It’s a stunning feature and we didn’t want to distract from it.”
Ultra Living Homes is no stranger to accolades. Not only was Megan recognised as the Design Professional winner at the 2023 HIA-IDA Queensland Interior Design Awards, but the company itself boasts a reputation as an award-winning builder, celebrated by both HIA and Master Builders. With an impressive track record, the La Casa Eden is poised to add a few more trophies to the mantle.
The La Casa Eden display home is located in the SkyRidge Display Village at 23 Parkway Circuit, Worongary and is open seven days from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
