Each season Canada presents a distinct yet equally captivating experience, and whether you’re chasing the warmth of summer or the magic of winter, there’s always something beautiful waiting in the
Great White North.

Unveiling Vancouver

We start our expedition in Vancouver, a vibrant and picturesque city nestled on Canada’s west coast.

Embraced by the stunning natural scenery of the Pacific Ocean, mountains, and lush forests, the city is renowned for its captivating outdoor landscapes and abundant recreational opportunities.

The best way to dive into Vancouver starts with a visit to Stanley Park. This sprawling playground spans over 400 hectares, making it the biggest green gem in the city and one of North America’s coolest urban parks.

Stanley Park isn’t just any park; it’s a West Coast wonderland, where you’ll find yourself surrounded by lush rainforest and jaw-dropping views of water, mountains, and giant trees.

Arriving in the midst of the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival only added to the city’s allure.

Throughout this special event, the streets of Vancouver transform into picturesque avenues awash with the soft pinks and whites of blooming cherry blossoms celebrating the cultural link between Vancouver and Japan.

The festival offers artistic performances, blossom tours, and picnics under the trees, perfectly blending urban vibrancy with natural beauty and making our visit truly memorable.

Just a 30-minute drive from Downtown Vancouver lies Cypress Mountain Ski Resort, renowned as a venue for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Featuring stunning views of Vancouver City, Cypress stands out with its well-maintained runs, state-of-the-art facilities, and vibrant night skiing options.

Whether you’re looking to carve fresh tracks early in the morning or enjoy the crisp mountain air under starlit skies, Cypress Mountain promises a dynamic and memorable alpine experience close to one of Canada’s most picturesque cities.

The next stop on our tour takes us to the hidden gem of Squamish, tucked snugly between the grandeur of the Coast Mountains and the tranquil beauty of Howe Sound.

A mere hour’s drive north of Vancouver, this charming town offers a perfect day trip escape from the city.

As you hit the road, you’ll notice each twist and turn of the highway reveals a new vista, from the dense forests lining the roadside to the seals frolicking in the waters of Howe Sound.

Upon arriving in Squamish, you’ll find yourself immersed in a world of outdoor wonder, with plenty of hiking trails and crystal-clear lakes and rivers to paddle, fish, or simply bask in their serene beauty.

Our journey continues as we fly into in Calgary, a city pulsating with vitality and enthusiasm.

Known as the gateway to the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Calgary offers the ideal blend of urban sophistication and outdoor adventure.

Landing in Calgary brought the bite of a minus11 degree Celsius chill, with the runways covered in a thick blanket of snow, setting a dramatic wintry scene.

This cool reception was a vivid introduction to the winter beauties of the Canadian Rockies.

In the afternoon, we found ourselves wandering through the bustling streets of downtown Calgary, including the vibrant Stephen Avenue.

Lined with lively bars and restaurants, it was the perfect place to dive into some of Canada’s favourite flavours.

We grabbed a hearty serving of poutine and washed it down with a crisp Kokanee beer, truly indulging in the local cuisine.

No visit to Calgary would be complete without immersing ourselves in one of Canada’s most cherished pastimes: ice hockey (or ‘hockey’ as the locals call it).

Catching a game at the Scotiabank Saddledome, home of the Calgary Flames, offers an electrifying glimpse into the heart of Canadian sports culture.

Just outside Calgary, a unique adventure awaits at the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary.

This sanctuary sprawls over 160 acres of beautiful terrain, providing a refuge for over 35 wolfdogs.

Each of these animals has a unique story, and visitors can choose how they want to connect with them.

After this heartwarming experience, the drive to Banff National Park is nothing short of spectacular.

As you leave Calgary, the landscape unfolds dramatically, with the breathtaking Rocky Mountains rising in the distance, marking the beginning of another stunning chapter in our adventure.
