Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast pulled out all the stops to celebrate the race that stops the nation in style at the Gold Coast Turf Club.
The Melbourne Cup, it’s a day that encapsulates the thrill of horse racing while celebrating fashion, tradition and class. And when you add Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast to the mix, you have a celebration like no other.
MBGC marked the Melbourne Cup with a gorgeous floral-themed event at the Gold Coast Turf Club. The soiree attracted over 90 guests who made their way to The Emporium Room overlooking the coast’s iconic track.
Sponsored by Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and hosted by cycling legend Robbie McEwen, our fabulous guests were greeted with welcome drinks and a delicious array of canapes to whet their appetites for the next few courses. The venue was decorated with the colours of spring and boasted beautiful floral arrangements, Mercedes-Benz décor and stunning shades of pink and rose gold.
The second most anticipated race of the day, the fashions on the field, saw ladies and gents take to the catwalk and wow the crowd with their fantastic sense of style. Emma Wharton from Pacific Fair was Style Scout and short listed the finalists for best dressed lady and gent, who were awarded with an incredible Pacific Fair prize pack.
